Description

Riprap protection of approximately 2125 linear feet of endangered streambank near Ohio River mile 730 between the towns of Troy and Tell City, Indiana. The project will protect an existing railroad track along the river bank. Minor upper bank excavation will be utilized in some areas to reduce the amount of stone required to produce a uniform slope. Existing pipes used for drainage of adjacent properties will be extended through new stone protection. The estimated cost range is between $500,000 to $1,000,000. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 03 april 2001 and Bid Opening Date is 03 May 2001 at 2:00 PM EST. This project is available on compact disk only.
