Description

The Contractor shall furnish and deliver two (2) Floating Courtesy Docks to the Morehead Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Menifee and Rowan Counties, Kentucky. The docks shall be delivered,ready to install, with installation to be done by the Forest Service. Dock Number 1 will be delivered to the Longbow Boat Ramp located east of the town of Scranton, Menifee County, Kentucky on KY Highway 1274. This dock will be 20 feet square with a 4 feet wide by 32 feet long bridge from the shoreline to the dock. Dock Number 2 will be delivered to the Scott Creek Boat Ramp located southeast of the town of Farmers, Rowan County, Kentucky on KY Highway 801. This dock will be "U" shaped. The shoreline section will be 8 feet wide by 36 feet long; the two legs will be 8 feet wide by 20 feet long and there will be a 20 foot wide opening between the legs. This dock will include a 4 feet wide by 35 feet long bridge from the shoreline to the dock. The docks shall have concrete decking and the bridges shall have wooden decking. The approximate price range is less than $50,000. These items will be solicited using the Request for Quotation format. This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns in NAICS Code 421910, Sporting and Recreational Goods and Supplies Wholesalers with a size standard of 500 employees.
