Description

The Government intends to award to Litton Systems, Inc., Litton Integrated Systems Division, P.O. Box 1118, Northridge, CA 91328-1118, a modification to Contract N00019-99-C-1128, for the Communications Improvement Program (CIP) upgrade of up to twenty-four (24) Communication Control Group (CCG) units for the S-3B Viking Naval aircraft in FY01. Options in FY02 and FY03 will provide for the CIP upgrade of up to twenty-four (24) CCGs in each option year. Additionally, the modification will include correction of software deficiencies within these units. As the CCG Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the developer of the required CCG upgrade, Litton Systems, Inc., is the only known source possessing the experience and technical data necessary to the performance of this effort. See Note no. 22.
