Description

Description: Furnish and deliver butane propane and butane propane mixtures in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association Handbook: NFPA-58, Liquefied Petroleum Gases (current addition) to Fort Gordon, Georgia and Fort Gordon Recreation Area (Thurmond Lake) located at Leah, Georgia. Delivery period is 01 July 2001 through 30 June 2002. This procurement is for a Commercial Item for an estimated 422,000 gallons of Liquefied Petroleum Gas to be procured under a firm, fixed price, requirements type contract with an Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) clause. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 454312. The winter schedule includes approximately 169 buildings with approximately 188 tanks to be filled. Total storage capacity is approximately 159,525 gallons for winter. The summer schedule includes approximately 12 buildings with approximately 15 tanks to be filled. Total storage capacity is approximately 14,000 gallons for summer. Scheduled solicitation release date is March 22, 2001 with a projected bid opening date of April 23, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. local time.
