Description

1. The scope of work includes selective interior repair/replacement/renovation of damaged plaster, bathrooms, kitchens, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, windows and asbestos and lead based paint removal and disposal for seven senior officer's quarters. Specifically, Quarters 31, 32, 41, and 42 Upshur Road, and 1, 2, and 3 Wood Road. The combined total interior area is 37,357 square feet. The estimated value of this procurement is $2,400,000.00. Award will be based on best value to the Government, price and technical factors considered equal. Evaluation Criteria are Technical Factors, Price, and Past Pereformance. The Technical Factors are (1) Technical Expertise; (2) Technical/Engineering Solutions; and (3) Small Business Subcontracting Plan. The NAICS Code is 23321, Single Family Housing Construction. The size standard is $27.5M. 2. In accordance with FAR 102(a)(7), availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. The solicitation will be available free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://esol.navfac.navfac.navy.mil. All prospective offerors and plan room holders must register as plan holders on the website in order to receive a copy of the solicitation. The official plan holders list will be maintained on, and can be printed from the website. Hard copies (paper sets) or CD-ROM of the solicitation will not be provided by the Government. Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the website for any posted changes. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to conti8nually view the website for any amendments made to the solicitation.
