Description

Provide all necessary labor, supervision, materials and equipment to perform HVAC system rehabilitation at USCG Station Annapolis, Maryland. The work is defined as follows: 1.1 Remove existing HVAC system including but not limited to the chiller, boiler, approximately 1,600 lineal feet chilled/heating water supply and return and condensate piping; 1.2 Provide and install a new chiller, boiler, approximately 1,075 lineal feet chilled/heating water supply and return; 1.3 Remove approximately 1,500 square feet of carpeting and replace with new carpet tiles; 1.4 Insulate all new heating/cooling water supply and return piping located above suspended ceiling; 1.5 Provide temporary heating and/or cooling during construction; 1.6 Boiler flue pipe insulation contains asbestos and shall be removed and disposed of in accordance with Section 02070; 1.7 Remove existing CO2 galley hood fire suppression system and replace with a new wet chemical system complete with fusible link detection and manual pull stations at points of egress; 1.8 Remove and replace 3 louvers on galley exhaust hood to match existing. Unit Work Item #1: Remove and install approximately 100 square feet of acoustical suspended ceiling tile and batt insulation as required during construction The period of performance is 180 days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and is open to both small and large businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
