Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate with Sikorsky Aircraft Company, 6900 Main St., Stratford CT 06497 under BOA N00019-00-G-0288, to provide depot level planner and estimator (P&E) and in-service repair for the SH-60B, SH-60F, MH-60S and HH-60H aircraft. Sikorsky Aircraft is the designer, prime contractor and sole manufacture of the H-60 aircraft. P&E services and in-service repairs to include: H-60 peculiar parts, such as the airframe, flight controls, fixed provisions, and wiring. Sikorsky is the only source with development data, expertise and experience to perform this effort. This acquisition will not be pursued under full and open competition, as Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the only source capable of providing these repairs to the H-60 aircraft listed above. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Numbered Note 22 applies.
