Description

The Regional Contracting Department Pearl Harbor Hawaii intends to negotiate from a written quotation, an unrestricted contract for commercial supplies in accordance with FAR Part 12 using FAR Part 13.5 procedures. All contractors shall be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for Department of Defense contract awards. This RFQ solicitation may be downloaded from our website at http://www.cic.pearl.fisc.navy.mil/fisc/owa/solicitation_registration.start_page. Sources are responsible to periodically check this website for any amendments that may be issued, until the closing date of the quotation. Hard copies of the solicitation shall not be available. Phone requests will not be accepted. Requestors shall provide their name, address, phone/fax numbers and e-mail address. The RFQ will be available at our website on or about 27 March 2001. The completed quotation,representations at FAR 52.212-3,past peformance references, pricing justification and the following information required to meet technical acceptability (1)A Certificate of Analysis also known as a lab report detailing the contents of the sulfuric acid being proposed shall be submitted with the initial offer; (2) The name, address, phone, and fax numbers of the anticipated source of supply of the sulfuric acid; and (3)A summary of your company's capabilities and experience are due at date of closing on 2 April 2001, 2:00 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time (HST)and may be e-mailed to deborah_a_alberto@pearl.fisc.navy.mil or faxed to (808) 473-5750 by. An award is anticipated no later than 30 April 2001. The text of all referenced clauses can be viewed at http://arnet.gov/far. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) is a firm fixed price requirements contract for a base period from 01 September 2001 through 31 August 2002, with one (1) twelve-month option period from 01 September 2002 through 31 August 2003. The contractor shall be required to deliver sulfuric acid within 15 days after the receipt of a delivery order by hooking up the hose connections at Buildings 149 and 1424 located in the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and pumping the sulfuric acid into government-owned tanks.
