- Description
- The Department of Energy, Office of Nuclear Energy, Science, and Technology (NE), Office of Advanced Accelerator Applications (AAA) is seeking applications for the new "AAA University Fellowship Program" (AAA-UFP) which will provide up to $42,500 in fellowship benefits for ten students. FY2001 is the first year of the AAA-UFP which will provide financial support for up to eighteen concessive months to nuclear science and engineering students to pursue master's degrees in topic areas which support the AAA Program. This fellowship program will advance synergistic working relationships among students, universities, DOE laboratories, and the Office of Nuclear Energy, Science and Technology. Each fellow's thesis research must relate to the AAA program and must be approved by the Department of Energy. The Department has contracted with Amarillo National Research Center (ANRC) to manage the AAA-UFP. ANRC will manage the program in an open and competitive process, and will employ the guidelines described in the full announcement for this program.
