Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. This solicitation DAHA04-01-T-8024 is issued as an RFQ. The SIC CODE 7011. This requirement is unrestricted and has no set-aside provisions. This will be a firm fixed price contract. This requirement is for hotel lodging, conference space, and catering support for the period April 24 through May 5, 2001 in the Orlando, Florida area to support an International Military Support to Civil-Authority International Workshop/Exercise for the National Interagency Civil-Military Institute of San Luis Obispo, California. Due to transportation restrictions, the offeror MUST be able to provide, AT ONE LOCATION, a minimum of 55 single occupancy rooms per night (contracted) and 200 additional rooms (not contracted) at the Federal Government per diem rate. MUST be located in the Orlando, FL area. ***Lodging Requirements: *CONTRACTED ROOMS: 55 single occupancy rooms (25 April 5 May 2001). ***Conference Room Minimum Requirements: *One room 100' x 50' with a minimum of 12' ceilings, UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW. *One room 50' x 40' with a minimum of 12' ceilings. *Four (4) multipurpose rooms 25' x30': 2 rooms with 2 phone lines each and 1 room with 1 phone line. *One room 15' x 20' with 3 phone lines. *** Long Distance Phone Charges: offeror will charge for long distance calls actually made not to exceed $2,000.00 for all calls. ***Catering Support Requirements: *All meals are to feed 55 individuals (contracted) & an additional 125-150 meals (not contracted). *Menus listed are examples for bidding purposes only. Actual menus will be determined at later date. *RECEPTION: (29 April) barbecued meatballs, buffalo wings, assorted finger sandwiches, relish tray, chips/dips, fruit punch & coffee. *BREAKFASTS: chilled fruit juice, coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, omelets, sliced bacon, sausage, roasted red potatoes, toasted bread, assorted muffins. *MORNING BREAKS: regular & decaffeinated coffee, ice water, assorted tea, danish & fresh fruit. *LUNCHES: roast sirloin with peppers & onion in sherry wine sauce, house salad, fresh vegetables, choice of pasta, rice or potato, rolls, butter & beverage. *AFTERNOON BREAKS: coffee, ice tea with lemon wedges, assorted cookies & whole fruit. *DINNERS: Caesar salad with herb croutons, grilled filet of beef tenderloin in cabernet shallot sauce, baked potatoes with butter, sour cream & chives, selection of fresh seasonal vegetables, dinner rolls with sweet butter, triple chocolate terrene raspberry sauce, brewed coffee, hot tea with lemon & ice water.
