Description

The Monongahela National Forest anticipates contracting for one or more contracts for the performance of Forest-wide Road Maintenance consisting of the smoothing and reshaping of road surfaces, cleaning and reshaping ditches, and cleaning and inspecting culverts. Areas requiring the work are located within the Monongahela National Forest boundaries including the following Ranger Districts: Item 1 -- Cheat and Potomac, Spring Season; Item 2 -- Greenbrier, Spring Season; and Item 3 -- Gauley, Spring and Fall Seasons and Marlinton, Spring Season. In addition, if funds become available Item 4 -- Cheat and Potomac, Fall Season and Item 5 -- Greenbrier, Fall Season will be offered as Optional Bid Items. The contract performance will be from date of award, or May 1, 2001, whichever is first, through October 31, 2001. Contract award will be based on Best Value including past performance, equipment and price. Request the solicitation in writing, by fax, or by email at the listed addresses.
