Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and FAR 13.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, USZA99-01-Q-0028, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This procurement is unrestricted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. This contract action is for Pneumatic Pole System Parts. Clin 0001 Pole section #1, Part # 43005-01, carbon fiber pole section manufactured and bonded to Pneumatic Pole System in accordance with Battelle Drawing #43005-01 made of carbon fiber material. Part consists of one each strong pole end piece per drawing 12166. One each tube sleeve per drawing #43003-01. Quantity 7 ea. Clin 0002 Pole section #2, Part #43005-03, carbon fiber pole section manufactured and bonded to Pneumatic Pole System in accordance with Battelle Drawing # 43005-03 made of carbon fiber material. Part consists of one each tube sleeve per drawing # 43003-03. One each key insert per drawing # 3138-01. Quantity 5 ea. Clin 0003 Pole section #3, Part # 43005-05, carbon fiber pole section manufactured and bonded to Pneumatic Pole System in accordance with Battelle Drawing # 43005-05 made of carbon fiber material. Part consists of one each tube sleeve per drawing # 43003-05. One each key insert per drawing # 3138-03. Quantity 5 ea. Clin 0004 Pole section #4, Part # 43005-07, carbon fiber pole section manufactured and bonded to Pneumatic Pole System in accordance with Battelle Drawing # 43005-07 made of carbon fiber material. Part consists of one each tube sleeve per drawing # 43003-07. One each key insert per drawing # 3138-05. Quantity 4 ea. Clin 0005 Pole section #5, Part # 43005-09, carbon fiber pole section manufactured and bonded to Pneumatic Pole System in accordance with Battlelle Drawing # 43005-09 made of carbon fiber material. Part consists of one each handle strong pole per drawing # 40176 (handle will be positioned on pole section #5 per drawing 44000. One each pole base per drawing 42126. One each key insert per drawing 3138-07. Quantity 2 ea. All bonding must meet the manufacturer's (Advance Composite Products and Technology Inc.) specifications and recommendations per drawing #44000.
