Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for 6 each of the following plates. a) CVD silicon carbide Spec: SC-002; b) low resistivity; c) Plates are 5 inch by 5 inch by 0.015 inches; d) flatness less than 0.002 inches; e) surface roughness less than 16 microinches RA. Second set of 6 plates a) CVD silicon carbide Spec: SC-002; b) low resistivity; c) plates are 5 inch by 5 inch by 0.015 inches; d) flatness less than 0.002"; e) surface roughness less than 10 angstroms RA. Technical merit as well as price will be used to evaluate offers. As the technical merit becomes more equal, price becomes a greater factor. Procurements under Simplified Acquisition Procedures ($25,000-$100,000) are set-aside for small business unless small business cannot meet the need at a reasonable price.
