Description

NON-PERSONAL SERVICE: Serve as the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Coordinator for Fort Sill, OK. Duties include: assisting family members with special needs and making appropriate referrals to community agencies, both on and off post; advocacy; training about rights and responsibilities under Public Law. The Contractor shall participate in the quarterly EFMP coordinating committee meetings; chair the Special Needs Resource Team; write the Standing Operating Procedure; keep and provide statistics for the installation commander; set up and act as facilitator for support groups; provide awareness briefings and training sessions; provide respite care information; locate recreational and cultural programs available to family members with disabilities; provide training classes on issues relating to special education advocacy. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. The base contract period will be for five months, from 1 June 01 to 30 Sep 01 with three (3) one year options. NAICS code applicable to this acquistion is: 813319, size standard is $5.0 million. Estimated issue date is: 9 Apr 01. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered.
