17. This is a combined synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. A written quotation will not be issued. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-21. The Television-Audio Support Activity intends to procure the following items: CLIN 0001: Three (3) each, Sony El P/N DVWA500/1, Recorder/Reproducer; digital betacam videotape; playback capability; digital, analog and betacam SP tapes; digital betacam recording format; search speed of +- 50 times normal playback speed; servo lock time: 0.5 secons or less; super linear A/D and D/A audio convertors and digital audio log for editing; rack mountable; PWR RQMTS: 90-265VAC, 48-64HZ; PWR consumption 300VA. CLIN 0002: Three (3) each, Sony El. P/N BKDW-505, Encoder; NTSC encoder input board; allows direct input of NTSC composite analog video to digital betacam recorders; converts NTSC analog video to digital beacam format video; f/u/w Thomson and Sony digital betacam recorders. CLIN 0003: Three (3) each, Sony El. P/N RMM110/US; Rackmount Kit; used for mounting Sony Recorder/Reproducer, in 19-inch rack. Destination point is Army and Air Force Hometown News, San Antonio, TX. Required delivery is ten thirty (10) days after contract award. The suggested supplier and part numbers are provided for reference only. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Offeror's proposing other than the requested item must include specification data sheets/brochures, etc., sufficient to enable the Government to determine the capability of the offered item to meet the specifications as stated in this notice. Responses to this notice must be provided in writing. Responses may be mailed to Television Audio Support Activity, Sacramento Contracting Office, Attn: T-ASA/SCO (Chongae Makiya), 3230 Peacekeeper Way, Room 209, McClellan, CA 95652. Facsimile responses are acceptable and FAX number is (916) 643-4032. All responses to this notice must make reference to quotation number 1V2. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to offerors-Commercial Items, and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria for this solicitation will consist of price, technical capability of offered item and past performance. Technical capability and past performance, when combined, are equal to price. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this quotation, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items, with their offer.
