Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice. Contractor is to design and install an irrigation system that conforms to all local, state, and federal regulations. Location is the 126th Air Refueling Wing, Scott Air Force Base, IL. Design shall be for a complete system. Installation to be completed and functional in three separate phases. Design, installation, and engineering drawings (including as-builts) shall include, but not be limited to, all: mains, backflow preventers, meters, pumps, laterals, sprinkler heads, moisture sensors, valve boxes, control valves, control wires, system controllers, sprinkler heads, testing, minimal landscaping and seeding, and all other features of a complete, functional system. Area to be irrigated is approximately fifty acres. Magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation is set aside for small business, however, all offers will be considered. Solicitation will be available after March 30, 2001.
