Description

A non-competitive acquisition is proposed with Comtech EF Data Corp., Tempe, AZ for initial Provisioning Spare parts of the Bandwith Efficient Modem 7650 IAW FAR 6.302.1(b)(1), Only One Responsible Source. This procurement is confined to the contractor's part number and must be compatible in form, fit and function with existing equipment. The Government does not possess technical data. Note 22 applies. PACKAGING AND PACKING shall be IAW contractor's best Commercial Packaging ASTM D3951-98. BAR CODE MARKINGS are required IAW MIL-STD 1189A/129K. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICATION for a commercial item prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. QUOTE is being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The assigned RFQ number is DAAB07-01-Q-A017. Solicitation requirements and incorporated provisions are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular. Offeror is requested to provide quotes for Contract Line Items: 0001AA (6 ea. Circuit Card Assy, NSN: 5998-01-481-8385); 0002AA (4 ea. Circuit Card Assy, NSN: 5998-01-481-8381); 0003AA (4 ea. Circuit Card Assy, NSN: 5998-01-481-8382); 0004AA (4 ea. Circuit Card Assy, NSN: 5998-01-481-8384); 0005AA (6 ea. Circuit Card Assy, NSN: 5998-01-481-8386); 0006AA (4 ea. Power Supply, NSN: 6120-00-G97-4657); and 0007AA (2 ea. Chassis Electrical, NSN: 5975-00-G97-4656). Successful offeror will be asked to complete Representations and Certifications that would ordinarily be included in the solicitation. Offeror is advised that the applicable clauses will be incorporated into the contract, at contract award. Written quote is due no later than 1:30 P.M. E.S.T on 12 April 2001.
