Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation notice for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is restricted to 100% small business concerns. Request For Quote on the following items: -OEM Windows 2000 Pro SR1.0 3 Pk-167 Each -Viking Components 64MB ECC RAM DELL GXA 6233 Optiflex-501 Each -MOL 5.0 Academic Windows Client Access License 2000- 1500 Each Contractor must quote on all items listed. FOB: Destination for delivery is Lackland AFB, TX. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18, NAICS is 334111. Note that 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. In addition the clause at 52.212-5, Contract terms and conditions required to implement Statutes or executive orders- Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. Specifically the following clauses cited are applicable: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for special disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; Far 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR number must be obtained before award can be made. Award will be based on meeting the requirement, evaluation of lowest price, and responsible offer/quote. Submit written offers via fax (oral offers will not be considered), to SSgt Nancy A.
