Description

The closing date for this procurement has been changed to 31MAY01. An on-site visit has been included to view U.S. Coast Guard Loran Support Unit, 12001 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood, NJ 08260, 25APR01, 9:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. (Local Time). Potential offerors are invited and urged to participate in the on-site visit of the existing timing and frequency equipment. Offerors may visually inspect the existing space and system regarding the requirement to be performed in accordance with the Specification. This will be the only site visit, therefore, all potential offerors are welcome to attend. All travel related expenses for this site visit shall be the Offeror_s responsibility. Any questions regarding the site visit shall be directed to Mrs. Baskin. POTENTIAL OFFERORS INTERESTED IN THE ON-SITE VISIT SHALL CONFIRM THEIR ATTENDANCE WITH MRS. BASKIN at (202) 267-2014 or fax (202) 267-4475, not later than 2:00 P.M. ON 20 APRIL 2001. THIS IS STRICTLY A SITE VISIT, NOT A QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION. ALL QUESTIONS, CONCERNS OR CLARIFICATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND SUBMITTED TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. ALL RESPONSES WILL BE IN THE FORM OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE SOLICITATION. The Request for Proposal (RFP) and final Specification are anticipated to be posted on 16 April 2001 at the Loran Support Unit (LSU) Internet site at http://www.uscg.mil/hq/lsu/webpage/LRP/TFEspec.htm. It is the firm_s responsibility to routinely monitor this site and/or the CBD for the release of the RFP and Specification. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with features of the Electronic Posting System (EPS), including its Acquisition Notification services. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the draft specification.
