Description

A modification is being issued to Emory University to Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit to continue clinical pediatric environmental health services. A sole source procurement acquisition was issued on December 14, 2000 to order number 1R-0110-NTEX. Services include evaluation of children/physician education and outreach support at G.E. Rome, Georgia PCB (polychorinated biphenyls)site. In the statement of work the Unit will assist EPA to evaluate the impact of environmental pollutant exposures on community pediatric health. The Unit will provide training and education for EPA, communities, physicians, and other health professionals in matters relating to pediatric health as it is affected by environmental contaminants.
