Description

The U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) has a requirement to conduct 3D high-resolution processing of seismic data from Garden Banks Blocks 424 and 425 and Mississippi Canyon Blocks 852 and 853, Gulf of Mexico. The performer must obtain the raw data and do 3D processing using the near-offset hydrophone groups and optimizing the high frequency content of the data to obtain high resolution images of near-surface geologic features. This purchase is considered sole source to Western-Geco who owns the proprietary data and has specialized experience in 3D high resolution seismic data processing to achieve the required spatial resolution needed for identifying near-surface geologic features.
