Description

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking a National Testing Administrator for examination of inspectors to be educated on the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively achieve the Real Estate Assessment Center's (REAC) objectives and to be placed on the REAC roster of certified inspectors. The primary objective is to provide examinations/tests for inspectors in the fifty (50) United States and U.S. Territories, to certify their knowledge of the HUD Handbook 4150.2;Valuation Analysis for Home Mortgage Insurance, HUD's AQA Review Appraiser Desktop Guide and Qualifying Examination for 203 (K)Consultants. The requirement will be solicited, on the HUD web, under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, on or about April 12, 2001. HUD post all required notices of its contracting opportunities on its Internet Home Page Contracting Opportunities site. It is requested that potential offerors visit the HUD web site at http://www.hud.gov/cts/ctsoprty.html, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. Potential offerors who download copies of solicitations may automatically receive e-mailed notification concerning issued amendments to the applicable solicitation. HUD currently is using a new Electronic Source List (ESL) service. By using this free service, offerors will be able to register for e-mail notifications whenever amendments are made to a specific solicitation that has been downloaded. The list of sources who have registered will be posted to this site. If, you are interested in subcontracting opportunities you will be able to view the list and contact the registered sources to market your services. The solicitations identified as ESL available offer this free service. To receive these notifications,offerors must click on the link for e-mail notification where prompted in the RFQ announcement on the HUD web. Offerors are advised to check the web page frequently to see if HUD has issued any amendments to the solicitation that has been downloaded. All amendments will be posted to and may be downloaded from the HUD web site. NOTE: The solicitation will not be issued or posted on the web until on or about April 12, 2001.
