Description

The Defense Commissary Agency, Fort Lee, Virginia, is seeking sources that are interested in buying excess/surplus Government grocery store items. They include: Refrigerated produce cases, remote, medium temperature, 12-ft length; Grocery store refrigerated frozen food cases, remote, low temperature, assorted lengths; Grocery store refrigerated cases, upright, multi-deck, remote, medium temperature, 8 and 12 ft lengths; New refrigeration compressors for remote freezer cases; New refrigeration compressor for freezer cases, 1.5 Hp; Grocery store refrigerated case, upright, multi-deck remote, medium temperature, 12-ft length; Walk-in dairy cooler, remote refrigeration, with two display cases; QTY 3 EA walk-in freezer box, indoor prefab. At the present time, all units are currently installed and working at a Commissary in the Richmond, Virginia geographical area. If required, the Defense Commissary Agency will make arrangements for a physical inspection. Due to store operations, appointments may only be made for Tuesday and Wednesday during normal business hours. This is not a solicitation and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to sell the items identified above to any specific interested party. The Government will not reimburse any respondents cost for preparation of information in response to this announcement, nor pay preparation costs as a direct expense on any sale contracts that may eventually result from this announcement.
