Description
This is a resolicitation of project DTCG86-01-B-633113 to provide materials, equipment, labor and transportation required to: 1)Dredge bay and relocate to an offshore site approx. 1500 cubic yards of sediments; 2) Remove and relocate an abandoned ship anchor to an offshore site; 3) Construct mooring dosphin comprised of pile-driven steel H-Piles & concrete pile cap; 4) construct wooden catwalk from existing to new mooring dolphin; 5) Replace wooden framing, decking on existing pier; 6) Surface prep and paint repaired wood pier; 7) Surface prep and paint existing steel I-Beams and pipe piles, and; 8) Replace aluminum windows, metal roofing and wood door on the pier shed. The construction range is between $250,000 & $500,000. All work shall be completed no later than 240 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. This solicitation and the resulting contract are issued under PL100-656 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Only faxed or written requests for bid packages are acceptable. This notice is for informational purposes for minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
