Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement to purchase Landmark ProMax Seiswork software. This software solution is capable of ingesting archived seismic data sets from USGS teams in Woods Hole, MA and Denver, CO, while preserving necessary ancillary information, such as processing history. Both of these data archives use the ProMax archive format for this information, and therefore any processing and interpretation solution delivered to St Petersburg, will readily and completely decipher data. THE USGS ANTICIPATES AWARDING THE PURCHASE ORDER TO LANDMARK GRAPHICS CORP; this contractor is the creator, maintainer and the sole distributor of this product. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY; no formal RFQ will be available. This award will be made on or about 9 April 2001, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000,00. Any Vendors who may own the source code and who have been certified by Landmark Graphics are invited to provide an affirmative response to this notice by faxing capability statement to the CO at 703-648-7901. All responses must be received in this office within 10 calendar days from the date this publication first appears. All responses must be in writing, no telephone requests will be accepted.
