Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F41614-01-Q0059 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Responses/Offers are due by 4:30 p.m. CST, 10 Apr 2001. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334111 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. CLIN 0001: 2 each: Viewcast Encoding Workstation configured as follows: Dual processors 500 MHz or better; 256MB ECC DRAM; 17" Monitor; 20/48X CDROM; Windows NT/2000; Osprey -- 1000 Real G2 video capture and compression card, Custom configured for Virage VideoLogger and AudioLogger Software; Osprey -- 100 video capture card (for video cataloging), also custom configured for Virage VideoLogger and AudioLogger Software; RealNetworks RealProducer Plus; Virage VideoLogger; Virage AudioLogger; Virage Video Application Server Software; Virage User Licenses for 25 users. All hardware items must have full technical support from the single vendor and a warranty for 3 years. The software must have a 1-year support and warranty from the same vendor. These items must be assembled and fully functional upon delivery. F.O.B. point is Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas. The government requests delivery 30 days after receipt of order.
