- Description
- The AN/AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) is the Navy's next generation dipping sonar system currently being developed for the H-60 platform. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with Raytheon Electronic Systems, Portsmouth, Rhode Island, under existing contract N00019-98-C-0001, for modifications to existing Sonar Transmitter Receivers and Transducer Assemblies in preparation for upcoming Navy Developmental and Operational Testing. This effort shall include testing support, supplies, test equipment, repair, planning, and data analysis. Raytheon Electronic Systems is the only source that possesses the engineering knowledge and data of the ALFS System to provide the engineering support during Developmental and Operational Testing.!!*****
