Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Northeast Marine Support Facility, Woods Hole, MA has a requirement to perform a "Top-End Overhaul" on both main engines on the NOAA Ship ALBATROSS IV. The main engines are Caterpillar Model D379B PC, serial numbers 69B1929 and 69B1931, 8 cylinder, 1225 RPM, 525 BHP. Work shall begin on May 29, 2001 and be completed by June 15, 2001. Pre-Bid Inspection shall be on April 20, 2001 at 10:00 AM at the Northeast Marine Support Facility, 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA 02543. Offerors should contact Ken Marston at (508) 495-2347 if they plan to attend the inspection. Place of Performance shall be the Northeast Marine Support Facility, 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA 02543. F.O.B. Point shall be Destination. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
