- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334515, size standard 500. Offerors are to quote on the following line items: Line Item 0001 Provide three complete UNIVERSAL PROTECTIVE RELAY TEST SETS (Manufacturer: AVO International, Part No. SR-90-115). Unit of issue: Each. Equal products are acceptable. Line Item 0002 Provide three complete sets of MULTI-AMP PROGRAMMABLE VOLTAGE SOURCE (Manufacturer: AVO International, Part No. PVS1000). Unit of issue: Each. Equal products are acceptable. Offerors are to bid on a per unit amount for these items and provide a total amount. The Government requires FOB destination. FOB point is Tyndall AFB, FL. If the products submitted are listed on a Federal Supply Schedule, and that product is selected for award, award will be made under the terms and conditions of that contract. The required delivery date is 15 days ARO or under the terms of the GSA contract. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Prospective offerors will submit their quotations on letterhead stationery, in accordance with FAR 52.212-1 (b)(1-11). In accordance with FAR 52.212-1(b)(4) Offerors are to submit technical descriptions of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature or other documents if necessary. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and resultant contract. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following cited clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped workers; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans on the Vietnam Era; 52.219-6, Child Labor-Cooperation with Authorities and Remedies; 52.222-19, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration; 52.232-33, Buy American Act- Balance of Payment Programs-Supplies; 52.225-1, Buy American Act-North American Free Trade Agreement-Israeli Trade Act-Balance of Payments Program; 52.225-3, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases; 52.225-13, Sanctioned European Union Country End Products; 52.225-15. Offerors must include with their offer a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representation and Certification-Commercial Items. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Award will be based on the lowest priced quotation meeting the technical requirements from a responsible contractor in accordance with FAR 9.104-1.
