Description

The work in this project consists of 265 acres of thinning forest stands, removing both sawlog and biomass material, 110 acres of dead tree removal, log haul, 53 acres of slash piling or whole tree yarding with chipping, and road maintenance and erosion control work. Contract requires cut-to-length operations with log forwarding for dry ground or over-snow operations. The project is located on the Lake Tahoe Basin. Estimated start work date 06/18/01, contract time 165 days. Estimated solicitation issue date 04/30/01.
