Description

In this project, the contractor will complete willow flycather surveys and nest monitoring at 15 sites on the Tahoe, Lake Tahoe Basin, and Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forests. Contractor will also search for dispersing willow flycathers. Estimated start work date is 06/01/2001, and will conclude 01/31/2002. Nest monitoring will be completed every 5 to 7 days beginning 06/15 thru 08/31. Requirements include 3 months of field surveys/nest monitoring and writing a final report summarizing results. All field data and a final report will be submitted to the Tahoe National Forest Wildlife Program Manager. Estimated solicitation issue date 04/27/01. Survey areas are approximately 1/2 hour from Truckee, CA., and south of Lake Tahoe off Highway 50 and along Highway 88 one mile east of Carson Pass.
