Description

This is a combined sole source synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation number for this acquisition is for MDA113-00-T-0012. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23 (Initial Effective Date 20 Feb 01). This is a "Brand Name" requirement for Sony Electronics, Inc products. The requested delivery schedule is within 45 days after receipt of an order. Offerors are to provide a delivery schedule with their quotation. FOB Point is Destination, and the designated delivery location is DVIC, 1363 Z Street, Building 2730, March AFR CA 92518. Responses to this notice shall be in writing and make reference to this RFQ. The following is a description and part number of the Sony requirements: 0001-1 Ea-Sony Digital Beta Cam Player Editing Recorder, Model A-500 that includes an Analog Composite Encoder Board (Model BKDW505). The fill-in information is as follows: "Award will be based upon a proposal that meeting all the terms and conditions of the solicitation, together with a determination by the Contracting Officer that the price is considered fair and reasonable and that the offeror is responsible within the meaning of governing regulations." Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its quote.
