Description

Purchase of Nortel Parts for Norstar Phone Switch. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (DTCG81-01Q-3DS011) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. FAR Clauses and Provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concern. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Provisions that applies to this RFQ: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, Technical Capability of item(s) offered, and Past Performance factors (please provide Points of Contact, Telephone Numbers, and types of supplies of which contracts have been satisfactorily completed of at least 3 current references). 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Feb 2001) shall be completed and submitted with RFQ's. NO CONSIDERATION WILL BE GIVEN TO QUOTES LACKING THIS AND ANY OTHER INFORMATION SET FORTH IN THIS SOLICITATION.
