Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, intends to issue a solicitation for administrative and facilities related support services at NAVSEA Corona, CA on or about 01 May 2001. This CBD Announcement is the Final such announcement posted in regards to this requirement. The services, which are currently provided by Government personnel, were announced for commercial activity cost comparison study in accordance with OMB Circular A-76. The solicitation (N00244-01-R-0056) and any subsequent amendments resulting from this announcement will be available to interested parties via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) Web Site http://www.neco.navy.mil It is the responsibility of interested parties to periodically monitor the NECO Web Site for updates and new listings. It is anticipated that the contract type will be a firm-fixed price with award fee provisions. The contract is anticipated to contain a 30 day phase-in period, a Base period (expiring that same fiscal year), and four one year options. Previous CBD Announcements are hereby cancelled and replaced by this synopsis. The government will no longer accept, accumulate or post an electronic bidders list for this requirement. The government will post a list of site visit attendees by Company Name only, on the NECO Web Site. This procurement is being conducted under Commercial Activity OMB A-76 cost comparison guidelines. If government performance is determined to be more advantageous, the solicitation will be cancelled. Only electronic copies of the solicitation and supporting documentation will be provided at the NECO Web Site. Note 1 applies (NAICS Code 561210 $20M).
