Description
17. This acquisition is a Set-aside for Small Business concerns under NAICS 511130, size standard 500 employees. The Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) has a requirement for writing, editing, tracking support, and graphic services necessary to produce and disseminate printed information to a variety of audiences. Examples of products to be produced are as follows: pamphlets, booklets, manuals, monographs, technical reports, articles, proceedings, fact sheets, knowledge exchange bulletins, summaries, A/V tapes, and resource kits. It is anticipated that one contract award will be made under this RFC, for a three year period. The estimated date for issuance of this RFP is April 20, 2001 with proposals due thirty days after issuance of the RFP. Prospective offerors who requested RFP #277-01-6063 will automatically be sent this RFP #277-01-6070. The solicitation may be obtained in either of two ways; electronically or by mail. The solicitation may be obtained electronically at the SAMHSA web site: http:/samhsa.gov [see Contracts]. Files will not be made available on the Web Site until after the estimated issuance date. Once downloaded, you should determine if you have a continuing interest in the RFP. If so, you must either write the individual identified above that you wish copies of amendments to the RFP (if any) sent to you by mail or check the Web Site regularly for amendments which will also be posted there and can be downloaded electronically. You may choose either method for obtaining amendments. Note, however, that if you rely on the Web Site for obtaining amendments, at this time, we have no way to assure, and will therefore assume no responsibility for assuring, you have downloaded these amendments. Requests for copies of the RFP to be mailed must be made in writing. Requests will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis until the supply is exhausted; however, there is no assurance that copies requested after the twentieth day will reach the requestor before the due date for receipt of responses. Requests shall be forwarded to the attention of Kelly Taira, Contract Specialist, Division of Contracts Management, OPS, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Rockwall II Building, Room 640, 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, Maryland 20857. Telephone request will not be honored. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by CSAP.
