Description

The INL Bureau is requesting offers for the purchase of equipment to be exported to South America. This procurement is a small business set aside. Vendors must contact the Contracting Officer, Ruth Porter, at fax number 202-7876-8775, and request a copy of the specifications for the equipment. The machine to be acquired is Brand Name or Equal to the Wuestec DX480/2000 X-Ray Machine. Vendors who have questions are encouraged to sumit them in writing immediately to the Contracting Officer, who will obtain answers from the Users and release that additional information to all interested parties. Vendors will be responsible only for sending the equipment by ground freight to the government's domestic despatch agency, who will handle the shipment onward to South America. The Government will make an award based on Best Value to the Government -- to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the specifications and is most advantageous to the Government. A technical evaluation of all offers will be conducted by the Users. The technical performance capability of the machine is primary in this requirement. For those offers meeting all technical specifications, price and delivery time ARO will then be considered as evaluation factors. Note that the Government may award to other than the lowest priced Offeror. Vendors may include as a separate line item estimated freight charges to Miami, FL.
