Description

Request for Information -- The US Army Medical Command, MEDCOM Contracting Center, is soliciting small business concerns who are interested in providing healthcare services in various nursing and technical specialties at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), Fort Lewis, WA. with the possibility of adding small quantities at Weed Army Community Hospital, Ft. Irwin, CA. and 1 -- 3 OB RN's at Bassett Army Community Hospital, Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. The scheduled services would cover the hospital (MAMC) on a 24 hour, 7 days-per-week basis. Approximately 24 -- 49 RNs of various specialities, 20 -- 27 LPNs, and 6 OR Techs will be required at any one time. The Government will provide guaranteed 13 week combination shifts on a combination of evening, nights and weekends. The daytime shifts will flucuate according to the Government's needs. The Government is investigating the possibility of making multiple awards if one contractor cannot be found that can satisfy all the Government's requirements. Due to the critical nature of the services to be provided, a quick turnaround for any requested service is essential. Therefore, respondents to this notice must be able to provide a listing of nurses than can be provided for this requirement along with letters of commitments. This is a personal services contract whereby the contrator employees will be integrated into government provider teams. Responses are due into this office by 04/20/01 and will not exceed two pages.
