Description

The U.S. Army at TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal has a requirement to provide Engineering Services in the areas of high volume production; electronic & mechanical assemblies (both military & commercial), electro-mechanical testing & risk assessment of high reliability components as well as commercial off the shelf (COTS) for multiple programs, but not limited to, Wide Area Munition (WAM)& the Advanced WAM (Hornet); Raptor; & Non-Lethal Weapons which include Capability Sets on a part time effort as needed over one year from date of award. The contractor will provide support to develop & evaluate system engineering & integration processes; integration schedules of all subsystems; requirements management; & subsystem interfaces. Provide support to evaluate risks associated with subsystems & identify any risks associated with the selected technical approach. The contractor will investigate sensor technologies for Project Manager Mines, Countermines, & Demolitions (PM-MCD) application; identify & evaluate doctrinal issues that need resolution; evaluate design & development of training items; evaluate technical & operational testing needs; review modeling & simulations plans. The contractor will provide assistance & guidance in developing documentation for Milestone decision reviews, & evaluate manufacturing plans for low rate & full rate production items. The contractor will furnish monthly report of activites & detailed expenditure of funds. A non-disclosure statement will be required to be signed by the contractor.
