Description

The purpose of this modification to the MARKET SURVEY SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis, Posted in CBDNet on March 28, 2001] [Printed Issue Date: March 30, 2001] is to extend the due date for submission of information from 4/09/01 to 4/13/01. The Agency for International Development is seeking information from potential SMALL BUSINESSES and 8(a) program companies to serve as PRIME CONTRACTORS OR SUBCONTRACTORS for the implementation of worldwide small grant programs. The MARKET SURVEY is limited to SMALL BUSINESS AND 8(a) program companies only, for the purpose of assessing the availability of prospective SMALL BUSINESS AND 8(A) program companies capable of and interested in PRIME CONTRACTOR AND SUBCONTRACTOR opportunities under the Support Which Implements Fast Transition II (SWIFT II) program approach. THE SYNOPSIS, REFERENCED ABOVE SETSFORTH THE DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIRED SERVICES, THE TYPE OF INFORMATION THAT SHOULD BE SUBMITTED BY INTERESTED PARTIES, WHO/WHERE TO SUBMIT INFORMATION AND IDENTIFIES PREREQUISITE CRITERIA. A solicitation is not available at this time. The government will not accept any questions regarding this synopsis or the synopsis referenced above prior to the end date, 4/13/01. Contractors may submit questions with their response. These questions shall be addressed in a public forum when the solicitation is issued. Responses received as a result of this notice will be used for the purpose of determining if there are any small or 8(a) businesses capable of providing the required services. A SOLICIATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. A CBD announcement will be issued to notify the public of the expected release date for the RFP.
