Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code is 42142 and it is a 100% small business setaside. ITEM: Provide and install Remodeled Xerox DocuPrint 4635A LPS Printing System to include all hardware, software, and firmware as follows: DocuPrint 4635A LPS; 18-track 3480/90 Cartridge CM95-1; Peripheral Cabinet for tape drives PERCAB1; Online connectivity ONLIN42; 3.5" Floppy Drive SCSI35; Mouse Tray 4C5; Bi-mode Controller BIMDCTRL1; Software 4635BIMN; VIPP-XGF1-3; Tape Drive H8Y; Wide SCSI Host Adaptor; Analyst Services & Customer Education (operator training for three (3) RD employees on-site); On-Line/Off-Line (Cartridge Unit); Tape Drive Cabinet; GHO 32MB; Pentium Processor; Media Conversion Kit, 5" Floppy; User Interface Mouse Tray. The cost should include credit for trade in of two (2) Government owned Xerox 4090 printers. FOB Destination -- deliver to 1520 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103. Acceptance will include a 30 day performance period. Failure of the product to successfully perform and be accepted within 60 days after initiation of acceptance period, the Govt may require the contractor to replace the defective equipment.
