Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement is being solicited on a sole-source basis from Raytheon Systems Company in Tucson AZ because they own all the technical data for these items which will be used on Laser Guided Bomb Systems. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-01-Q-0161 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed action is NOT set-aside for small business. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332722 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 -- 3000 each Set-screw, Raytheon P/N 532611-3; CLIN 0002 -- 3000 each Set-screw, Raytheon P/N 532611-1; CLIN 0003 -- 50 each, FZU Extender, Raytheon P/N 2898453-1 . Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 90 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
