Description

This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for repair, upgrade and conversion of AN/ARN-123 Receivers. These units were produced sole source by Honeywell Inc., CAGE 27914. The R-2023; P/N 4000937-6201; NSN: 5826-01-020-2258 requires conversion to the R-2139; P/N 4000937-6202; NSN 5826-01-070-4065. All R-2139s then require update to R-2139A; P/N 4000937-6222; NSN: 5821-01-478-6865. Also required is any necessary repair to bring these units to a serviceable condition. Detailed technical data for the repair, upgrade and conversion of these units is not available from the Army. Any sources capable of repairing, upgrading, and converting these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-A-AN, Building 1200E, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The responses must demonstrate intimate knowledge of the system including areas such as fault isolation/repair procedures and projected parts/materials usage. Details of the conversion and upgrade must be supplied. The upgrade must comply to ICAO Annex 10 for FM Immunity. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item repaired will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
