Description

The Federal Highway Administration plans to negotiate with John Hopkins University to conduct a study entitled _Cyclic Lateral Load Testing of Piles._ John Hopkins University has proposed a method utilizing the Statnamic Load Test System that will provide a solution for performing large-scale cyclic load tests for seismic and other extreme event design of highway structures. Because John Hopkins University, Engineering Department is the originator of the concepts to be investigated and the designer of the prototype equipment to be tested, no other source is considered reasonably
