Description

GSA is announcing its intent to issue a procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contract will be a fixed price effort to provide information technology modifications to an existing master database called "Docudata," specific to Document Technologies software linked with Cardiff Teleform Elite version 6 software. This purchase is for the purchase of PDF+, version 2 software, customization, and one year support, which provides the capability to put surveys and data gathering forms on line and/or as an e-mail attachment to update the existing database at Scott Air Force Base, IL 62225. Requirement is for each of the following items and quantities: (1) Deliver PDF plus, version 2, software, to 13 locations, providing teleform telephone support for installation of the PDF plus module; (2) Deliver the conversion and testing of existing Teleform design files to Active PDF format suitable for use over web with data submitted to client designated URL (unique for each location) for processing by client-installed Document Technologies certified PDF plus server. Evaluation and testing of all forms' client side functionality as well as delivery to the Teleform Reader Engines. Customization of the Teleform Design module to produce graphic versions of electronically submitted data for use as an audit trail by the DocuData database. Evaluation and testing of new form file outputs for the currently existing DocuData databases, both on the base side and the Master database located at Scott AFB, is required; and (3) one year software support and point upgrades, 13 locations. Use of Document Technologies, L.C., is being considered to satisfy the Government's requirements. No other service provider is known to be capable of providing the software and support to meet the service requirements. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation, reference Number 5TC5701C130. NAICS Code 511210, Computer Software Publishers, packaged, applies. Size standard is $18.0 million. This requirement is to provide the software licenses and maintenance identified. Period of performance is from date of delivery through September 2002. FAR 52.252-2 applies to this acquisition.
