Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This annoucement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation Number DAHA04-01-T-8032 is a Request for Quotation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. This is for purchase of (1) one each of Electronics Platesetter: with the following features: Recording: Capscan; Rip: Harlequin NT RIP and platform version 5.1; Light source: Red Laser Diode (635nm); Resolution: 1200, 1500, 1800 dpi; Recording Speed: 48' (1236mm) per minute, at 1200 dpi, 31" (791 mm) per minute at 1500 dpi, 21" (552mm)at 1800 dpi; maximum recording width: 15 7/8" (404 mm); output media: Silver Digiplate material, polyester .004 or 008"; Plate width: 9" (229mm), 10" (245mm), 11" (279mm), 12" (305mm), 12/16" (310mm), 123/4" (324mm), 13 3/16" (335mm), 13 3/8" (340mm), 14 9/16" (370mm), 15.9" (404mm), 16 5/16" (414mm). Plate Length: 8.65" to 22.83" (220 to 580mm). Interface: fast wide SCSI (16 bit), Integrated processor: Coating type development- Eco processor Chemistry: Activator, stabilzer (specify); tank capacity: (specify); Output speed (plate): First-114 seconds, 78 plates per hour ( 404 x 450mm at 1200 dpi). Electrical requirements: 110/120 volts AC, 15 Amps, 50/60 HZ. Miscellaneous: an environmentally safe system is desired. A computer system to hold incoming jobs prior to plate output is required as part of the bid package. These specifications will vary depending on the requirements of the system you are offering.
