Description

TRADOC Acquisition Center intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract for Training services to conduct the Hostage/Crisis Negotiation Course at the US Army Military Police School (USAMPS), Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. The contractor shall provide academic (classroom) instruction and practical exercises for an estimated 7 classes per year. Employees of the successful offeror must have successfully completed the FBI Academy Hostage Negotiation Course or the USAMPS Hostage/Crisis Negotiation Course or a nationally recognized equivalent. The contract base period is 1 Oct 2001 through 30 Sep 2002 with four (4) one-year option periods. This acquisition is set-aside for 100% small business participation (NAISC Code -- 611699; business size -- $5.0 million). No paper copies of this solicitation will be issued. The solicitation will be placed on the TRADOC Acquisition Center (TAC) website at www.tac.eustis.army.mil on or about 3 May 2001 where interested parties may download it. Site visit at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, is tentatively scheduled for 15 May 2001. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to the TAC website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments. Proposals shall be submitted via paper copy.
