Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport has a small business set aside procurement for a 6" Raised Access Floor System (or an acceptable equivalent from a different manufacturer) to be installed in a building at NUWC Newport. In addition, vinyl composition tile flooring shall be installed in the areas delineated (manufacturer, part number and color of VCT must be as specified to match what has been installed elsewhere in the building: Armstrong Standard Excelon #51929 Sandy Beach). Specifics are as follows: First Floor: Furnish and install 1,960 sq. ft. of ConCore 1000 HPL 1/16" ST6-1 with integral trim, 24" x 24" panel, Bolted Stringer System at 6" FFH; One ramp at 6' x 3' -- 3.6" (44 sq. ft.); Two steps -- (1) @ 6'-0" and (2) @ 3'-0" x 6'-0"; Furnish & install (F&I) 45 LF Fascia @ open sides of floor; F&I 16 LF of Aluminum ADA wall mount hand rail @ steps & ramp; F&I 39 LF of Aluminum ADA floor mount hand rail @ steps & ramp; F&I on ramp and steps 66 SF Armstrong Standard Excelon #51929 VTC; The above work will require raising one pair of existing double doors and frame to accommodate the height of access floor. Second Floor: F&I 1,704 sq. ft. of ConCore 1000 HPL 1/16" ST6-1 with integral trim, 24" x 24" panel, Bolted Stringer System, and Cornerlocked at 6" FFH; Two steps -- (1)@6'-0" x 3'-0" and (2)@6'-0" x 3'-0"; F&I 24 LF Fascia @ open sides of floor; F&I 16 LF of Aluminum ADA floor mount hand rail @ steps; F&I on steps 36SF Armstrong Standard Excelon #51929 Sandy Beach VCT @ landing. Third Floor: F&I 592 sq. ft. of ConCore 1000 HPL 1/16" ST6-1 with integral trim, 24" x 24" panel, Bolted Stringer System at 6" FFH; One step 3'-0" x 6'-0"; F&I 9 LF Fascia @ open sides of floor; F&I 4 LF of Aluminum ADA wall mount hand rail @ steps; F&I 4 LF of Aluminum ADA floor mount hand rail @ steps; Furnish 5 lifting devices; F&I on steps Armstrong Standard Excelon #51929 Sandy Beach VCT; The above work will require raising one existing door and frame to accommodate the height of the access floor. Third Floor: F&I 1,800 sq. ft. of Armstrong Standard Excelon #51929 Sandy Beach VCT. A site visit is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, April 23, 2001.
