Description

Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to modernize station heads at USCG Station Charlevoix, MI. Major work items include: (1) Renovation to two existing toilet rooms by removing existing fixtures and replacing with new water closets, urinals, shower stalls, and lavatories. Renovation shall include lighting and ventilation; (2) Construction of three new private bathrooms in berthing rooms. New baths shall include toilet, lavatory, shower stall, lighting, ventilation and finishes; (3) New bathrooms shall require new hot and cold water piping and new sanitary sewer piping; (4) Provide and install one new backflow preventer; (5) Fin radiation shall be replaced in renovated toilet rooms; (6) New fin radiation shall be installed in each of the three new bathrooms; (7) Remove and replace the suspended acoustical ceiling system in the main passageway; (8) Provide two temporary berthing trailers complete with water, sanitary, electrical and communication utilities, heat and A/C for entire duration of construction; (9) Remove approximately 1300 SF of non-friable Category 1 floor tile and mastic; and, (10) Remove approximately 65 asbestos containing pipe fittings. This procurement is estimated between $100K and $250K. This procurement is open to large and small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program.
