Description

The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis through Q-Matic Corporation for their extended warranty agreement on the proprietary Q-Matic Customer Traffic Management System. This warranty will be provided for one year and covers replacement of faulty equipment, labor and materials necessary to repair and replace parts. The warranty also covers repairing existing system software if bugs or glitches occur. The warranty will cover 92 IRS customer walk-in sites around the country with four additional sites to be installed. All responsible sources that can provide the above requirement shall submit a written quotation of interest and capability by the date specified (4/27/01). All quotes shall include FOB point, point of contact (name and telephone numbers), GSA Contract Number, if applicable, business size and payment terms. No solicitation will be issued, therefore such requests for solicitations will be considered nonresponsive. All questions must be submitted in writing.
