Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201, intends to negotiate with Thyssen Krupp Dover Elevator, 13321 Cloverdale, Oak Park, MI 48237 to provide elevator maintenance. The equipment to be maintained is Dover TIV. This proposed contract action is for maintenance of the Dover TIV elevators, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than May 18, 2001, 4:00 p.m. local time, to the contracting officer indicated above. See numbered Note 22.
